With that mod it gets pin point accuracy while in the air. Higher level players in Comp are very mobile and make it very tough to hit headshots with slugs: that said you can still make it work, but pellet shotties are more versatile and consistent against better opponents.

Not sure what platform you're on, but on PC I feel like chaperone has amazing in air accuracy. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I hit head shots in air consistently enough that I purposely set myself up to get a jump shot as a viable strat.
